if you are feeling Lost in the mad rush of “normal life”
Then you are not alone. “Normal life” isn’t normal - we aren’t meant to be bombarded with thousands of advertisements and DMs a day while driving through crowded traffic and stressing about endless tasks on a screen for work.
We are meant to be in nature, in communion with her, and with each other.
We are meant to breathe, to feel the sun and wind on our skin, to smell the trees and rain.
We are meant to know ourselves, to live authentically from our truth, to own our life force with clarity and boldness.
“Achieving” this is not actually hard. We already know the answers within. It’s more a matter of letting it happen. Which tends to happen naturally, you guessed it:
In Nature.
Welcome to the BWCA Wilderness Retreat
The BWCA Wilderness Retreat is a holistic wellness experience simultaneous with a guided group trip in the Boundary Waters, for anyone feeling burnt out and ready for a deep intentional reset in nature.
We are basically taking the retreat model of intentional group reset - discussions, somatic practices, ceremony, group bonding, time for integration and relaxation, etc. - and putting it in a wilderness context.
Many people are seeking healing, groundedness, and reconnection with self and others in a myriad of ways. Most of which can be very useful.
But any such attempts that ignore nature are incomplete. For nature is where we come from - in fact nature is who we are. We want to help people find a restored relationship of safety in nature as the container for self-reflection, healing, and development.
We also want to get away from the model of outdoor adventure as a colonial expression of conquering miles, and travel in it more from a place of harmonizing with nature as a friend who cares for us and holds us.
If you are feeling a little frazzled and overwhelmed in this modern industrial digital world, feeling like something fundamental is missing in your life, feeling the call of your primal ancestral self to go back to your roots -
We’d love to have you join us.
